Pearl & MOP Care
Pearls are organic gemstones that are vulnerable to acid, alkaline and lack of humidity. To preserve your pearls' radiance, avoid letting them come into contact with cosmetics, hair spray or perfume and keep them in a moisture rich environment.

Leaving your pearl jewellery in a security box for long periods may cause your pearls to dehydrate, so enjoy them frequently. That being said, your pearls lustre can also be reduced by perspiration. To avoid this, wipe them gently with a soft cloth before returning your pearls to your jewellery box.

Pearls are exceptionally solid and shock-resistant, but may be scratched by contact with sharp objects such as other gemstones. To prevent this, use a protective jewellery pouch. If the radiance of your jewellery appears to be deteriorating, take it to a specialist for a professional cleaning. An ultrasonic cleaner should never be used with pearl jewellery as it will damage the pearls.
